Step 1: Web Application

  • In order to apply for PATS, you must first study N5 by e-learning for at least 2months.
  • Send your name and email address to PATS by clicking the APPLY NOW button from the right

Step 2: Study Japanese Online

  • PATS will send you the ID and PW required for e-learning. Please use the ID and PW you received to login by clicking the OPEN APP button from the right.
  • Please study for more than 2 months after activating your account. We will review your study history and if it shows that you are not interested in studying Japanese, we will determine that you are not willing to take the exam and we will delete your ID. Please note that those who are deleted will not be eligible to take the exam.

Step 3: Entrance Exam


  • Students who are qualified to take the examination by PATS (those who have studied for 2months) should submit the application form (fill in the required items) by e-mail.
  • PATS will send you the ‘Test Number’ by email.
  • When announcing the result, the ‘Test Number’ will be announced on the website.

Step 4: Interview

Conducted for those who passed the Japanese language test. Interviews will be conducted in groups of 3-4 people.

Step 5: Announcement of Result

Homepage publication on 7 June 2022 (Tuesday) from 9:00 AM

Passed students will be notified by post mail.

About Entrance Examination

We accept online applications.
We will start linking to the application site from April 11th to 30th on our school website.

① Those who wish to enroll should first take the Japanese E-learning designated by our
school for at least two months. APTAC will email you the ID required for the course.

② Eligibility to take the exam: Approximately 300 students from e-learning users will
be qualified to take the CBT exam, taking into consideration the status of study.

③ Primary Selection: CBT
For the above qualified applicants, a selection test of N5 level CBT will be conducted at the APTAC school on 29 May.
The result will be announced on 31 May. It will be posted on the HP.

④ Secondary Selection: Interview
An interview test will be held on 5 June for those who have passed the above primary test. Successful applicants will be notified of the implementation date directly by email.

⑤ Health checkup: 9 June (Thursday) to 14 June (Tuesday) for those who have passed
the secondary examination. We will inform the applicant of the location and method
at a later date.

⑥ Result Announcement: After strict examination, successful applicants will be
announced on the website from 9:00 on 16 June. Successful applicants should receive
the admission documents at the APTAC office counter.

Yes, you can apply. But there is no dormitory when the school opens. Therefore, it is necessary for you to be within the range that allows you to commute to school in time. If you are going to school from the residence of a guarantor such as a relative, please obtain permission from APTAC.

Yes, experienced teachers will be dispatched from the affiliated KISJ Nihongo Gakuin in Tokyo.
You can also take online live streaming classes by Japanese teachers.

The lessons will be held separately in the first semester after enrollment is a separate class. From the second semester, we will introduce classes according to proficiency level, so high school graduates may enter the same class as university graduate.

On campus (inside the main gate), the phone power must be turned off and it is prohibited to use until leaving the school. However, you can use it during your lesson with the permission of the teacher in charge.
